Aarhus-based investment company Obton Group has hired Søren Lindgaard, who will be responsible for the finances at the investor's two companies, Obton, which invest in solar energy, and Koncenton, which invests in property, the company has announced.
"It is important for Obton Group to have a clear picture of what creates value for clients, just as it is for any other company. A good overview of data and KPIs are completely central to this, so we can always adjust when this is needed," says Lindgaard in a press statement.
"At a time when the financial industry is changing rapidly, because the world is changing, we will be even more dependent on immediate access to up-to-date data for creating an overview, be ahead of the developments and create a foundation for the right decisions to be made," he adds.
Lindgaard comes to the company after a period as an independent advisor, but before then, he was CFO at Kirk Kapital A/S, the family offices of the LEGO family. He worked there from 2014 until 2019. He has also been CFO at ID Design, FLS Aerospace, Tvilum and Lego.
"I am very happy that we have got Søren on board, as he has the right experience and insight to help lead Obton and Koncenton on their exciting growth journeys. Being able to act - and be ahead of - the development in the financial industry, so we can protect our investors' interests in the best possible way, is crucial to our business. We believe Søren is the right man to be responsible for that," says Anders Marcus, CEO of Obton.
