2021 has seen various commercial buildings being sold. The 112 Robinson is no different, rounding off the year with a caveat lodged on December 14th at the price of $269.7 million. The price was based on $2,925 per 92,205 sq ft. The 14-storey building was refurbished in 2003 and has offices on the upper levels, and shops units spread out on the ground floor.
The buyer of the building is Alpha Eins Pte Ltd, an entity of AM Alpha, a Munich-based family office with a regional office in Singapore. The acquisition is believed to be the family office’s first direct purchase of real estate in Singapore, backed by Singapore’s oldest legal firm, Denton Rodyk.
112 Robinson’s seller is Robinson Singapore Holding Pte Ltd, with Lion Trust. Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) who brokered the sale.
